Quakerpedia is a website that hopes to become the premiere source of information on the web about the original Quaker movement and everything descended from it down to the modern day.
Because Quakerpedia is a wiki, anyone can contribute, including you. To edit a page, just click the "Edit this page" link in the sidebar on the left. To create a new page, just navigate to the page you'd like to create and click "Start this page". (See Editing for more advanced instructions.)
Quakerpedia was started in the fall of 2006 by Zach A, a young adult Friend from New England Yearly Meeting, who has been inspired for several years by the enormous potential of wikis for collecting, developing and disseminating information, as evidenced by the phenomenal growth of Wikipedia. Quakerpedia is currently hosted through HCoop, an internet hosting cooperative, where the small hosting fee is paid by Zach.
